A very short night

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Rare to be awake early enough to see the stars but that was the case today after only a few hours of sleep. We have already been to the airport and back for Serra to return to campus. After a slight delay of rebooting the computer on the plane, they were able to take off and should only be a half hour behind schedule. Thankfully, Serra always goes for the long layover and will still have plenty of time.

What did we do this week? The humans spent most of their time sleeping in and playing Animal Crossing. Several bugs and fish have been caught along with time traveling in the game to find the right conditions to do so. Serra also spent time out with her bestie before heading back to college today. No updates for Amanda on the job hunt as the team she is hoping to be hired with has been off to a spine conference. I'm glad they are still talking to her and keeping her updated. Fingers crossed something good happens soon.

Craft time saw the finish of two skeins of the new color spin. I have six more little bundles to spin and ply together. A couple more hexies joined the pile and a long-suffering cross-stitch project remade an appearance. It is about half finished so why not give it a go. A new session of learn to knit started at Loopy and I have a busy week coming up with four classes and a lesson to teach! So glad they are going well, and I hope it continues.

As for me, it was a better week. Emotions have evened out with some of my routine returning. Getting back waking at 4 am and getting in my lake walk has been extremely helpful. Hopefully I can get back to the bike as well. I also have plans to get more knitting patterns written for the new year so it's time to get moving. For now, this morning, it might be time for a nap.

This week! It's back to school for Serra with making friends with the new math tutor to get through Calc 2 this semester. Starting in on the job hunt again along with hoping for good news on her interviews are in store for Amanda. Me? lots of class to teach, and crafts to make. Breathe, believe, grow, Love, know that every little thing is going to be alright, and I'll be back next week :)
