Acknowledging the process

Good morning and happy Sunday to all of you out there! Things here are off to a slow start after sleeping in. Sometimes I wish that I would keep the same schedule on the weekends as I do during the week but truly being up at 4 am every day would get tiresome. Thing about sleeping in on the weekends, as much as I enjoy it I always feel like I'm wasting a valuable resource: Time.
Time is one of those things that can never be replaced and that I never feel I have enough of. I know that I need to right here right now doing exactly the things that I am but also I beat myself up for not being farther along with the business and myself. Case in point. This week my goal was to have two more patterns up on the website for you, however this week was also Spring Break for the girls. Amanda has been dying to get her driver's license, poor kid will be 17 in June. Due to outside forces the last few months getting her behind the wheel of a car has been just about impossible. Now that I have taken care of things there we spent the week driving instead of me typing at the computer. Thankfully we got a good chunk done and she's doing very well with it. I also did a lot of work on the sample knitting that I'm doing instead of course of being on the computer. Sometimes I just have to go with the ebb and flow of the energy instead of fighting it like I did internally this last week. It's not a matter of being "good enough" for situations or change, it's seeing where you are at now, acknowledging the work that you have done and putting forth the effort to continue down your chosen path. Am I exactly where I want to be? No. But I'm where Time needs me to be right now. As long as I continue on my path, even if it's only with baby steps depending on the week, I'm still getting to where I want to be.
So what is on tap for this week? It's back to school for the girls, the last two and half month push to the summer. Gonna do some catching up with a lovely maker and Interweave Yarn Fest is happening! I'll be taking a class on tablet weaving and spending money with my favorite silk dyer as she will be in the Marketplace. Hopefully in there I will also get a pattern for the Promise yarn posted for you. Take care and have a great week!
