Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I think Mother Nature may be feeling better from her hangover. The last two days have seen a combination of snow, grey skies and sunshine, not necessarily in that order! Today the sun is shining, and the sky is blue. Maybe spring is here to stay.
What did we do this week? Serra had a good week with plenty of takeout, extra sleep and good study time. She spent time with friends and made soup with her favorite pepper from Flatiron, I Can't Feel My Face. This stuff is made from four of the hottest peppers and while it is good, it doesn't take much! Thing is, Serra has a much higher heat index than most. It sounds like she melted a couple of tongues however her roommate liked it. I'm glad they have found each other.
Amanda had a much easier week this time around. I think she is on the downhill slide to graduation. Keep things mostly on course and it will be smooth sailing. She learned about 3D printing and how it can go wrong when you don't pay attention and hung out with friends. Members of her program were intent on watching Wicked and bribed her with cupcakes. She was good and didn't MST3K the film and had a good time. I know she is going to have even more fun today, but I'll save that for next week. I hope she takes pictures.
Crafts took a back seat this week as I drove over the hill to see Daddy for a few days. I always take a project and somehow manage not to work on it. We watched movies, went out to dinner and relaxed. The drive back had its messy spots as usual in the spring and my car needs a serious bath. Classes are still going strong at The Loopy Ewe. Saturday saw a new Learn to Knit session and the start of the My First Sweater class. This tends to become a knitalong as I have been making Serra sweaters lately.
Remember the colors from last week? She has a full list of how she wants them in the sweater. I'm so glad she has found her colors again.
As for me, it was a great week. Time with Daddy was good and just the right amount. It was good to see him and also good to be home. My time sense has been a little off lately as time between certain things has felt much longer than it really was. Final Four basketball has been a blast to watch, and I played a bit with some music, something I have been thinking about for a while. Joy is filling a lot of the space here and I can't stop smiling.
Next week! The semester rolls on for the girls, Serra only has one month remaining! Amanda gets to have a lot of fun that I'll share next time and the week for me is busy with a photo shoot and more teaching. Smile, expand, dance, Love, move to the rhythm of your world, and I'll be back next week ;)
