Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The sky outside the patio door has already quickly gone through its pink streak cloud phase and the ground is frosty. Daddy said he would send me snow from the Western Slope and so far, it hasn't shown up. It makes me wonder how messy and wet March is going to be.
What were we up to this week? I'm guessing Serra's had a good one with lots of spam and shamrock milkshakes that I'm sure have killed her stomach. Hopefully she will give it a rest this week to let it recover before going on her spring break trip Saturday. We are going to talk tonight as she finally found someone that will watch horror movies with her last night.
Amanda treated herself to a new Lego set this week and has been enjoying the Olympics. An unexpected cold call from a position she applied for should result in an interview this week. Someone finally recognized RPI on her resume and that was why he called. It was a total shift as she was expecting a call from a different company at the time.
Short week with having Monday off for me. Granted with working from home I still put in a little bit of time to get caught up before another photo shoot. I get a week reprieve before having another one the first week of March. Classes are still going strong at Loopy with four new hat knitters and two lace knitters this week. I'm working on the schedule for summer now.
With so much time out this week, I didn't have much going on with crafts. I started writing a new knitting pattern and hexies are getting blocked.

Only 55 more to go! I plan to get yarn dyed for joining this week. Still need to work out the color order. I estimate it will be seven feet wide by ten feet long. Just the right size to wrap up in.
I may be slow at knitting my sock sets from Little Squirrel, but I am good at buying them. Lucky for me they only come out once a month!

Friendship Bracelet is a fun blend of pinks, peaches, and blues with the periwinkle mini skein. The color screams Serra so I have a feeling she'll get part of it. I need to finish the Electric Summer pair first. I'm also working on a gauge swatch for a fancy pair of colorwork socks for me using some of my laceweight cashmere blend.
As for me, it's been a long emotional week. I'm tired, blue and trying not to feel like the hourglass is running out of sand with all of the things I want to do along with all of the things I need to do. Hopefully getting back to my morning routine and having a quieter week will sort that all out.
Next week! I'm guessing that Serra is 80% packed for Belize already. Fingers crossed her class load is light this week to handle the excitement. Amanda gets to build more Legos, watch more Olympics and keep in on the job hunt. Me? More of everything. Breathe, relax, rest, Love, keep believing, and I'll be back next week :)
