Snowpacalypse!!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Snowpacalypse has finally arrived in my little corner of the Fort. I was rather disappointed when I woke Saturday and there was no snow. Today is making up for it.
Snow
It's heavy, it's wet and it's glorious! I'm sure I'll be out in it again later today clearing the steps even though we're not going anywhere and shaking my tree so it doesn't break.
What did we do this last week? Serra had a couple of tests and finished up the quarter strong. This week is spring break, not that you would know that from looking outside. Always good when the time change falls with it. When I was a kid the time change was on Sunday night and was normally forgotten about which made that Monday crazy. I imagine she will spend this next week sleeping and playing Minecraft. We're going back to full time school after break. Hopefully it will last and the kids can finish the year out. Amanda is getting 70* degree weather and surviving another round of quarantine. She's got a couple of tests coming up this week and hopefully quarantine will end Thursday.
What did I do this past week? The shaping and pattern motif are working in a shawl that I have been thinking about for a couple of years now. It's coming together exactly as I pictured it which makes me very happy. It is going to be part of a large collection inspired by Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy Trilogies. I've been thinking about them for a while and it is past time to get them going. I also wound a couple of warps as I get to be a part of a spring market!
Spring Market
Saturday April 10th from 10-4 at the Fort Collins Senior Center. So the looms and I will be in a bit of high gear the next few weeks to get ready. I would love to have you come say hi.
As for me this past week had a couple of bumps but was overall good. Might not have gotten as much done as I had planned but I stayed in the moment and filled my heart and soul in the space between. Hopefully keeping this mindset and feeling will help me continue to create my future. Stay warm, enjoy the snow, take care of you and I'll be back next week ;)
