Still Standing

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The sun is bright and shiny outside my window today. Don't know that the temperature matches as I haven't gone outside but we were in the 50's last Friday, too warm for January but not a bad day to celebrate Serra's birthday. Amanda on the other hand is in for it this next week as the Northeast is supposed to get hammered.
Yes, I am still working on the project that I can't share. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel with it which is good. Throwing various movies in during the day has helped and I've had on the Iron Man trilogy along with the Matrix trilogy to keep me company. Once I get this taken care of I'm going back to some of my own ideas and projects and promotion of things here to try to get this moving. I've been told twice now to find what it is that I enjoy doing has far as a job or career is concerned as people that are placed doing what they want to do better. Well I enjoy creating and making but so far neither of those yield the end goal which is security and being able to use the knowledge that I have and continue to build upon. Thankfully at the moment I still have time which is something I have to remind myself of constantly. The hourglass is only a trickle but I still feel it. Got a bit inspired to try another round of watercolor tapestries so I'm going to let that rattle around in my brain a bit.
As for me this past week was bumpy and emotional and not in the good way. Lots of old fears of not being enough bubbled up again and I'm trying to pull myself out of it. I've had Elton John's I'm Still Standing stuck in my head since last night and that is kind of how I feel. It's also time to make some changes this next week that will help more. I'm going to get back to some self-care physically. I've been riding stationary bike since August but it's not the same as going to the gym five days a week. So food and strength training are going to get added back into the mix. Hopefully doing that will make sleep better and overall mental health better. People often say they don't have time but really you always have time if you make something a priority in your life.
Next week! More knitting and possibly some doodling to see what the watercolor tapestries are saying. Also a good day for the birthday kid with getting her braces off after two years. Breathe, take care of you, and I'll be back next week :)
