Summer already?

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The weather is bright and clear outside the patio door today as the overcast skies and rain have given way to the sun. I rather enjoy the rain and hope we aren't into blazing hot temperatures too soon even if the calendar now says June. 

What have we been up to this week? It sounds like Amanda and Serra are both enjoying some rest and relaxation. Late nights with friends and lots of sleeping in are their agendas at the moment. Not a bad way to start the summer. Serra has been out and about with her local bestie twice this week and I have a feeling that is how most of the summer is going to be spent. 

The long weekend and extra naps helped kicked the extremely weird cold and I was finally feeling like myself on Thursday. Holiday weekend makes for a short week of work that was busy with a photo shoot and meeting with the new PieceWork editor.

Craft time was spent working on Serra's next sweater. I am in the marathon stretch of the body using up the last of my pink yarn. Sometimes stockinette in the round is far too relaxing! I also had a couple of lessons and indulged in reading two books this last week. You'd be amazed at how long a Saturday is when all you do is curl up with a book.

As for me, things are good. I need to come up with a crafting plan to get ready for fall markets to get things made this summer. Next week's plan is to get back to some physical activity with feeling better as well. It's time to get the summer routine on. 

Next week! Back to routine and more crafting! Fingers crossed some summer classes will start getting booked and some time spent relaxing is good too. Breathe, be, stretch, grow, Love, imagine the possibilities and I'll be back next week :)
