“I’m going on an adventure!” Bilbo Baggins, The Hobbit
Ever go into a shop and find the one lonely skein? It’s the last of an indie that can never be matched again yet you love it so much that you can’t leave the poor thing their in sad misery? This is the pattern for you and that bit of loveliness you now have living in your stash. The Adventure Neckerchief is the first in a set of patterns for the Orphans, single skeins that are delightful but you have a limited quantity of the color. It is knit from tip to tip increasing in width for half of the yarn and decreasing in the other half. This means that you can adjust the size to fit the amount of yarn that you have.
Finished size: 14” at widest point, 70” long.
Pattern uses one skein of Jaggerspun Kokadjo 435 yds/skein
Gauge of 20 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch on size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
