Good Morning and Happy Sunday! It's bright and sunny so far out on the lake today and I've already seen a couple of people enjoying it, even with the early hour. Thursday it looked like I had transported to Scotland overnight with the dense fog. I have gotten better at spotting the bunnies on the hillside and had some visitors that day. I have affectionately named this pair Henry and Margaret. They come down the hill from the lake and occasionally tap on the window at the door. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I think spring has finally arrived in my little corner of the world. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and the sun is bright outside the patio door today. Saturday saw the second 5k of the season happen on the lake. I imagine there will be several more this summer. What did we do this week? Monday was the last day of classes for Serra. I love her little college. They threw the students a party that evening that included Midnight Breakfast where Serra cleaned up a ton of bacon. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Scotland is visiting outside the patio door with a misty fog. We've had moisture on various days this past week and it makes me glad. I was not ready for the blazing heat of summer and missing a proper spring. Now if only I could find some lilacs in bloom. What did we do this week? It is the beginning of the end for Serra and Amanda, with the semester that is. Serra had her last week of classes and a Chem lab exam that she thinks she did good on despite only three hours of sleep the night before. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! A bit of a slow start for me sleeping in an extra hour, not something I normally do. Mother Nature tried to give us a last hurrah on Friday with a dusting of snow. She loves to play with us in April. The Rockies and Nationals wussed out and didn't play Friday night. The Mets love to come play in our April snow but I'm glad they are waiting until June to visit.
